National Population council the General Secretary participated in the meeting of the service sector Ministries and National Council for child Welfare.
Participants Ministers were: Minister for the Welfare and Women and child Affairs, Minister of Youth and Sport, Minister of Labor and Human Resources, and Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr /Azhary Eltigany deputy chair of the Service sector in the Minister\'s Council emphasized the importance role of NPC and population issues. The Minister of the Welfare and Women and Child Affairs confirm this view and the necessity for the existence of the NPC and effective coordination between ministries and institutions relevant to work on population and in beginning to attention the most important issues on population and children.
Meeting made the following recommendations:
- Emphasis on the importance of the existence of the NPC to enhance the development process and as well for its associated International and Regional agreements on Population and development.
- There are a social and population phenomena that the NPC must examine and analyze such as begging street, homelessness, tribal conflicts, diversity and identity.
- Formulating states work programs regarding of the states and priority of population issues taking into account the specific needs of each states.
- Holding meeting to report on the NPC structure and the support it recent from the government and international agencies.
